Emma Motha

I am a psychotherapist-trained professional with a BSc in Psychology and an MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy, bringing practical clinical experience and a multicultural background. I completed 150 hours of supervised counselling at City College Counselling Centre, where I supported clients using active listening, empathy and non-judgemental communication.

I have worked across psychiatry, education and hospitality, including roles as a Treatment Assistant in psychiatric settings and as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, developing strong observational, documentation and teamwork skills. I collaborate closely with supervisors and multidisciplinary teams to implement treatment strategies and integrate feedback.

My strengths include digital and technical literacy with SPSS and MS Office, analytical thinking, and a service-oriented approach to client care; I aim to foster resilience, trust and inclusive environments in fast-paced, people-focused settings.
