Looking for a full-time remote Senior Software Engineer or Backend Engineer role with an international team. Interested in hands-on work involving Python, distributed systems, backend architecture, and GenAI. Based in Bosnia and Herzegovina, open to international employment or contractor arrangements.

Software Engineer and Component Owner with 8 years of experience building backend systems, distributed architectures, and data-intensive applications. Strong in Python, TypeScript, microservices, and system design, with experience across cloud and edge environments.

Currently leading a team of 10 engineers at B&R Industrial Automation, while owning architecture and delivery of IIoT and diagnostic components. Previously built data integration platforms, workflow engines, resilient synchronization systems, and distributed services.

Also expanding into GenAI application engineering, including RAG, AI agents, and AWS Bedrock. Looking for senior software engineering or backend roles with a strong hands-on focus at remote-first international companies.
