Ellijah Amor

I’m an Instrumentation and Control Engineering graduate with hands-on experience in automation, PLC programming, robotics integration, and equipment maintenance. I’m detail-oriented and focused on enhancing equipment uptime, reliability, and overall performance.

Through my training, I developed PLC programs using Omron, Siemens, and Allen-Bradley, and validated sequences as instructed. I also handled PLC wiring and configuration, performed VFD testing, and created basic maintenance plans by testing electronic components.

As a Process Automation Engineer I at Advanced Energy (July 2024 – Present), I automated manual processes by integrating robotics and PLC systems to improve production efficiency. I perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation equipment, and I troubleshoot robotics, sensors, control systems, and PLC-related issues to minimize downtime.

I bring strong problem-solving habits through my SME Certification Program in 6-Step Structured Problem Solving and 3x5 Whys. I’m a fast learner with discipline and the ability to quickly integrate new technologies and engineering tools, and I’m looking to grow in Automation Engineering, Instrumentation, or Control Systems Engineering.
