I seek accounting roles emphasizing month-end close, reconciliations, and process improvement in collaborative teams where I can improve reporting accuracy and support operational efficiency.

I am a detail-oriented accountant with experience across public accounting, regional firm leadership, and corporate accounting. I currently serve as Lead Accountant for the US GL team at Zendesk, focusing on month-end close, reconciliations, and process improvements.

My career began as a high school math teacher, and a love of problem-solving led me to pursue a Master of Accountancy at Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management. Since then I have built expertise at PwC, Hannis T. Bourgeois, and Zendesk, developing a strong foundation in financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Notable highlights include selection for PwC's USLT Shadow Experience as a winter 2016 intern and coaching peer interns during audit engagements. I bring strengths in month-end close, reconciliations, audit experience, expense allocation, and data analysis using Excel and Stata.
