Elias Peraza

I recently graduated from university with a degree in Agronomy Engineering. However, I’m interested in expanding my professional experience across different areas while continuing to build knowledge in my field of study. My goal is to develop into a well-rounded professional with a broader perspective and a wider range of career opportunities in the future. My personal goal is developing my career in crop protection, field research, and data analysis.

I have experience as a Research Assistant at the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica Molecular Biology Laboratory. I validated and analyzed bioinformatics data for research projects, supported the preparation of project status and results reports, and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to strengthen accuracy and technical rigor.

In my academic projects in Production Systems, I planned and carried out field activities such as planting, crop monitoring, and crop evaluation. I collected, analyzed, and used field data to adjust agronomic practices according to production objectives, coordinating work under efficient planning and execution methodologies.

In addition, I completed an internship at BIOPRANA WORLD, where I proposed and managed the first institutional contact for the development of a molecular biology laboratory. I prepared a technical inventory with quotations to support strategic decision-making and coordinated operational and technical aspects with international teams, maintaining clear communication and a results-oriented approach. I am proficient in Office 365, use artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT and Gemini for analytical support, and have basic knowledge of Microsoft Power BI.
