Edlira Maku
@edliralonghurst
Training Director focused on trauma-informed, Wraparound-aligned onboarding and workforce development.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Training Director with hands-on leadership in foster care program oversight, including evaluating foster placement decisions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supervising staff through consultations and case reviews. I bring a strong training and operations mindset—developing onboarding tools, standard operating procedures, and program improvements that strengthen service delivery.
In my training work, I collaborate with leadership to align training with organizational mission and strategic initiatives, identify training gaps, and build tailored solutions for workforce development. I maintain Wraparound and Methodology training standards and fidelity, promote inclusive and trauma-informed practices, and use LMS platforms and performance data to track completion, evaluate impact, and drive continuous improvements.
My background also includes case management and adoption homestudy social work—conducting interviews, home visits, assessments, documentation, and background checks—plus experience as a bilingual (Spanish) trauma support and facilitation specialist. Earlier roles in teaching and international interpreting strengthened how I communicate, facilitate, and coach people in high-stakes environments.
