Ecem Yılmaz

I’m an Industrial Engineering graduate with a strong interest in data analysis, programming, and process improvement. I’m determined to develop data-driven solutions and contribute to performance improvement through analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

During my Operational Excellence (OPEX) internship, I conducted method and time studies and used data analysis to evaluate production performance. I also supported process digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives including 5S, Kaizen, and visual management. In my Quality internship, I identified, documented, and tracked product and process nonconformities to support quality control in production processes.

My projects reflect how I blend analytics with operations: I restructured autonomous maintenance checklists using Pareto analysis and reported maintenance performance data with Power BI. For my TÜBİTAK 2209-B graduation project, I developed a hybrid approach combining FMEA with machine learning for error and performance analysis, using Excel and Visual Studio Code. I also applied Lean manufacturing and time-driven activity-based costing in a case analysis competition, earning 1st place.
