Ebele Chiekweta

I’m transitioning from International Relations into software development through NAIT’s Software Development Diploma Program in Edmonton, where I’m building practical skills in programming, software design, web and mobile development, databases, and software engineering practices.

My International Relations degree from Covenant University strengthened my ability to conduct policy analysis, research complex issues, interpret data, and communicate across cultures. My undergraduate research examined the intersection of cybersecurity, human rights, and international governance frameworks.

During my service year at Vicamis Group of Schools, I designed classroom instruction, managed student assessments and progress records, and provided individualized academic support. I also collaborated on extracurricular programs and school-wide events in a structured institutional environment.

I’m a self-directed learner developing Python, HTML, CSS, programming logic, and database fundamentals, motivated by software’s potential to create scalable solutions to real-world challenges.
