Dunja Radic

I'm a creative, curious person with a background in fine arts, hospitality, customer service, and online English tutoring. I'm in the final year of my painting degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo. Before that I studied architecture for a couple of years, and I also spent a year studying fine arts in Lisbon while working there.

Most of my work experience is in small, independent bars in Bosnia and Portugal. That's where I learned to pay attention to details, communicate clearly, stay calm when it gets busy, and make people feel welcome. I'm comfortable working alone or in a team, and I'll step in when something needs doing without waiting to be asked.

For a couple of years I also taught English online with Engoo, one-to-one, to students of all ages from all over the world. It taught me patience, how to explain things simply, how to manage my own time, and how to connect with people through a screen, write feedback in a constructive, kind and encouraging way, and being sensitive to different cultures and ways of communicating.

My art background gave me a solid eye for visual work: research, drawing, painting, composition, and turning an idea into a finished project. I'm also at home with creative software for photo editing, design, video, animation, and sound, and I pick up new tools quickly.

People usually describe me as calm, observant, and reliable. I like doing things properly rather than rushing, I ask questions when I need to, and I enjoy learning from others.

Outside of work I work on personal creative projects, like paintings, sculptures, prints, crochet, jewellery, embroidered sketchbooks, and small wooden furniture. I play guitar, I'm a certified yoga teacher (my big love), and I'm happiest in nature. I enjoy learning about art, psychology, spirituality, exploring new music and learning new languages.

I'm looking for work where creativity, independence, and care for the details are valued, and where I can keep learning.
