At MODEC Production Services Ghana, I support FPSO maintenance and offshore operations, including preventive and corrective maintenance for static and rotating equipment. I coordinate work scopes and provide technical support to SMEs.
I supported the 8,000-hour service of an LP Gas Compressor (C) through work-order creation, maintenance coordination, vendor engagement, and technical support. I also supported the refurbishment of compressor plate valve components.
I assisted with refurbishment of a condensate pump and participated in technical work on the Vapor Recovery Unit compressor, including investigating bearing-related issues and evaluating replacement options. I also manage work orders in IBM Maximo and support procurement with equipment specifications and documentation.
Earlier, as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Trellidor Ghana Limited and Volta River Authority – Tema Thermal Power Station, I assisted with metal fabrication and assembly, and with maintenance activities on combustion chamber components, flappers, and expansion valves. I studied Mechanical Engineering at Regional Maritime University, where my final-year project focused on mathematical analysis and control of an overhead crane with frictional effects.
