At Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, I assisted students with courses including Technical Drawing and Thermodynamics during my National Service as a Bachelor’s teaching assistant. I also facilitated final-year project work on a portable solar refrigerator for storing farm vegetables.
My research has included studying bamboo as a low-cost humidifier for cooling systems and conducting a life cycle assessment of buildings focused on energy consumption and resource depletion. My bachelor’s research project examined an automatic flow control valve for transmission oil pipelines.
At Africa Sustainable Energy Center, I worked with a team designing a framework for sustainable carbon credit and capture. I was assigned as a research strategist and analyst to draft a literature review on the carbon capture framework.
As a Design and Maintenance Engineer Intern in the Transport and Maintenance Department at KNUST, I overhauled engines and repaired brake and gearbox systems. I also changed engine oil and cleared dust from radiators in vehicle cooling systems.
