At Ghana Ports and HaboursAuthority, I completed National Service in the Mechanical Engineering Department. I worked in welding and fabrication, and assisted with maintenance of forklifts and lifting cranes.
At Takoradi Thermal Plant, VRA, I assisted with preventive maintenance for steam and gas turbine generators and performed non-destructive tests on steam turbine casings. I also conducted plant inspections during a later placement.
For my thesis, I worked on the design and fabrication of regenerative shock absorbers. My experience also includes an internship at KwansaAuto Company LTD, where I learned workshop procedures and vehicle-service documentation.
