Dorothy Vugutsa

I’m a final-year Applied Computer Science student at Daystar University (Athi River Campus), and I’m building my career at the intersection of tech thinking, UX design, and real-world customer engagement.

I completed the 8-module Google UX Design course on Cousera, strengthening my approach to user research, usability testing, wireframing, and prototyping—so I can turn problems into clear, testable solutions.

As a Red Bull Student Marketeer, I served as Project Lead for Red Bull Scramboo, coordinating a high-energy downhill bicycle race and acting as the primary liaison between participants and the Red Bull Kenya team to support seamless event execution. I also led consumer-focused field marketing campaigns through strategic sampling to drive brand loyalty and product trial.

Previously, as a Tutor at Algorithmics Hub, I provided technical mentorship by simplifying complex programming concepts for young learners, encouraging logical thinking and problem solving. I also supported marketing activations to increase enrollment, bridging product knowledge with consumer outreach.
