I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Genetics and Genetic Engineering at Benha University, where I am deepening my knowledge and skills in bioinformatics and molecular genetics. My academic journey has been complemented by hands-on experience through internships at ICARDA and AGERI, where I have engaged in bioinformatics analyses, SNP calling, and genome-wide association studies (GWAS).
In my role as a Bioinformatics Intern, I have successfully conducted RNA-seq analysis for gene expression profiling and differential expression studies, utilizing programming languages such as Python and R. My commitment to advancing research in genetic diversity is evident through my involvement in ongoing projects and publications, including manuscripts on chickpea genotypic diversity and the development of an R package for haplotype-based trait analysis.
Additionally, I have taken on teaching responsibilities, leading a course on R programming where I guide students through data manipulation and visualization techniques. My diverse skill set, combined with my passion for research and education, positions me as a valuable asset in the field of bioinformatics.
