Dionísio Salvador

I’m a product and UI designer based in Portugal, with sixteen years across product, branding and campaign work, most of it remote.

From September 2022 to October 2026 I was the only designer at Learninghubz, a 10-person B2B e-learning platform used by 30+ client organisations. I designed the product end to end: the learning web app, the mobile app, and the trilingual company website (English, Spanish and Portuguese, ~25 page templates in Webflow). There was no design system when I joined, so I built and documented one, covering forms, data display, navigation, overlays and feedback states, and maintained it asynchronously with a remote engineering team. I also designed the in-app AI features, an AI Coach and AI summaries on learning resources. That included the parts that decide whether people trust AI: clear labelling, regenerate and feedback, and loading and error states. On the brand side, I led the company rebrand and handled social, video, motion and exhibition stand design.

AI is now central to how I work. I prototype in working HTML with Claude rather than static mockups, and I recently rebuilt the Learninghubz website with Claude connected to Webflow, Figma and Vercel, going from design decision to live page with no hand-off. I use AI for research synthesis and design-to-code, and I build custom workflows and skills for the work I repeat. I’ve also learned to build motion in code, so it ships inside the interface instead of arriving as a video file someone has to reinterpret.

Before Learninghubz I spent eight years in advertising and branding. Four of those were at ADTRICK, a six-person studio in Lisbon delivering 20+ campaigns a year for clients including Samsung, IKEA, Nivea, Tetra Pak and Leroy Merlin. Before that I did pre-press at Printipo and started my career with a role in Dublin in 2011. I’ve run my own freelance practice, Dionysus Artwork, since 2015.

What I’m looking for: a permanent remote role in product design, UI or design engineering, on a team that values craft and moves fast. I’m interested in AI-native products, B2B SaaS, learning and creative tools. I’m comfortable with European and US East Coast hours, English has been my working language throughout my career, and I’m available from 1 November 2026.
