What I'm looking for

I am seeking a role that allows me to inspire students and contribute to their academic success while fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.

As a dedicated educator with a Master of Education in Teaching and Learning, I have a strong commitment to fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment. My experience as a World History and AP African American Studies teacher at Arts in Motion has allowed me to utilize innovative, student-centered teaching techniques that promote critical thinking and collaboration among students. I believe in the power of education to transform lives and strive to create lessons that connect historical events to contemporary issues.

In addition to my teaching role, I have served as a Special Education Classroom Assistant and a Graduate Assistant at DePaul University, where I supported undergraduate students in their academic journeys. My experience in these roles has equipped me with the skills to modify instruction to meet diverse learning needs and to provide guidance and support to students facing various challenges. I am passionate about creating a supportive educational atmosphere that encourages student growth and success.
