At Servotech Pvt (Ltd), I designed and followed up on fabrication of a Semi Automated Butter Cup Filling Machine for Cargills Dairies, increasing the production rate by 20%.
I also designed and followed up on fabrication of a CNC conversion for a Manual Vertical Lathe for OTR Wheel Engineering (Pvt) Ltd, then commissioned the machine to improve ease of operation and operator safety.
For other projects at Servotech, I designed a Double Bed Screen Printing Machine for Regal Image (Pvt) Ltd and a Carbon Monoxide Free Wood Stove for Spectra (Pvt) Ltd. My work on the stove used SolidWorks and Flow Simulation.
Earlier, I assisted with locomotive maintenance and repair at Sri Lanka Railway, and gained hands-on experience in pump maintenance at Dilum BMK Engineers. I hold a BSc. Eng. (Hons) in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Ruhuna, and my interests include engineering design, materials engineering, manufacturing, and project management.
