I’m a Speech-Language Pathologist focused on evidence-based care across adult and geriatric inpatient and outpatient settings, including telerehab. In my current role at Baylor Scott and White Institute for Rehabilitation, I provide speech, language, and swallowing treatment while completing informal and formal evaluations such as RBANS and WABR, and I support patient-reported outcomes through electronic questionnaires on a PRO system.
Previously at West Gables Rehabilitation Hospital, I treated medically complex patients in a 90-bed inpatient subacute hospital and conducted cognitive-linguistic and communication evaluations (e.g., SLUMS, MOCA, MAST, FROMAGE, and GDS weekly). I also perform bedside swallow evaluations, complete assessments like EAT-10 and VHI-10, and recommend MBS when appropriate—while actively advancing clinically through mentorship, monthly meetings, and certification-based professional development (FEES 15, NMES, MDTP, MBSImP, and Synchrony sMEG/PENS training).
