Kate Church
@katechurch
ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist focused on fluent, clear communication and executive function.
What I'm looking for
I’m a certified speech-language pathologist (CCC-SLP) with 5 years of experience assessing and treating communication disorders across medical, home health, and private practice settings. I’m licensed in Ohio and Kentucky, and I’m especially drawn to work in stuttering, motor speech, voice, cognitive communication, and executive function.
In outpatient and home health roles, I create a safe, accepting environment and deliver skilled interventions for neurodivergent clients. My focus includes Natural Language Acquisition, expressive and receptive language, executive functioning, written expression, feeding, articulation and phonology, and orofacial myofunctional therapy.
I also bring strong clinical exposure from skilled nursing and graduate training, including dysphagia, aphasia, dysarthria, voice, and speaking valve therapy for tracheostomy populations. I continue to grow through targeted education such as PROMPT, and I’m interested in expanding my impact through evidence-based, client-centered care and clinical supervision.
