Devon Garvie

I am a youthful and passionate educator with over six years of diverse teaching experience. My journey began as an aftercare supervisor at Cornwall Hill College, where I not only assisted Grade 3 students with their homework but also initiated a Bible Club to foster their spiritual engagement. This role ignited my commitment to creating supportive learning environments that cater to each child's unique needs.

My experience expanded as I took on the role of a tutor with Tutor Doctor, where I successfully guided students across various grades, witnessing significant improvements in their academic performance. At Ancyra Christian Academy, I embraced the challenge of adapting to the ACE schooling system, enhancing my organizational skills and creative problem-solving abilities while teaching music and drama. Most recently, I served as a homeschool teacher for a child with ADHD and OCD, where I was thrilled to see her confidence and abilities flourish throughout the year.
