What I'm looking for

I am looking for a role that allows me to inspire students, foster a positive learning environment, and continue my professional development in education.

I am a driven and enthusiastic educator with a strong background in STEM education. My journey began with a Bachelor of Education in Intermediate Phase Teaching from the University of the Witwatersrand, where I graduated with distinctions. I have dedicated my career to assisting diverse students in achieving their educational and career goals through personalized tutoring and engaging teaching methods.

With over 600 tutoring sessions under my belt, I have honed my skills in curriculum development and interactive teaching, particularly in subjects like History, Geography, and Mathematics. My experience spans various roles, including ESL teaching and high school education, where I have successfully fostered critical thinking and a love for learning among my students. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Education Honours in Mathematics Education to further enhance my teaching capabilities.

As an educator, I prioritize creating a positive and multicultural learning environment. My leadership experience as Head of Discipline at Pinnacle College Copperleaf has equipped me with the skills to manage student behavior effectively and collaborate with colleagues to promote a supportive school culture.
