Derrick Boateng
@derrickboateng1
Data Engineer at JOMACS IT Solutions who built ETL pipelines and improved query performance by approximately 70%.
GhanaWhat I'm looking for
At JOMACS IT Solutions, I developed and maintained ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and processing. I used Python, SQL, and Pandas for data cleaning and validation, and built data-processing workflows with PySpark and Spark SQL.
For my MoMo Transactions Batch ETL Pipeline project, I processed synthetic Mobile Money records and converted CSV data to partitioned Parquet. This improved query performance by approximately 70%.
I also built a PySpark workflow for YouTube Trending analytics and simulated real-time e-commerce event processing with AWS Kinesis, Lambda, and S3. I’m seeking junior, entry-level, or associate Data Engineer opportunities, particularly fully remote international roles.
