Agnes Boansi
@agnesboansi
Data Engineer at JOMACS IT Solutions who improved query performance by approximately 70% in a Mobile Money ETL project.
GhanaWhat I'm looking for
At JOMACS IT Solutions, I developed and maintained ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and processing. I used Python, SQL, and Pandas for data cleaning and validation, and built data-processing workflows with PySpark and Spark SQL.
I worked with AWS services including S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena, and Redshift, and supported batch and near-real-time data workflows. I also implemented data-quality checks and optimized storage and analytical queries using Parquet and partitioning.
On my MoMo Transactions Batch ETL Pipeline project, I processed more than 1 million synthetic Mobile Money transaction records. Converting CSV data to partitioned Parquet improved query performance by approximately 70%.
I also worked as a DevOps Engineer at JOMACS IT Solutions, supporting AWS infrastructure, deployments, Docker and Kubernetes environments, and CI/CD pipelines. I hold the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification and am pursuing a BSc in Cyber Security.
