I’m a Lead Enterprise Architect with 20+ years shaping AI, cloud and platform architectures across regulated financial services, including Deutsche Bank, HSBC, Google Cloud, ING and Barclays. I currently lead AI-platform and agentic-AI (MCP) architecture initiatives at Deutsche Bank, focused on building adoption patterns and governance that balance pace with compliance and risk. I’m TOGAF 9.1 certified and AEA v3.0 (Zachman), and I operate comfortably in contested, ambiguous, high-assurance environments where trust and clear reasoning matter.
Previously, I designed multi-cloud landing zones for major European banks across AWS + Azure + Google Cloud and owned governance for multi-year cloud transformation programmes. I’ve also built and led enterprise engineering functions at HSBC across a 62-country platform, founded KiteEdge Ltd to deliver a graph-based “Search-as-a-Service,” and created Barclays KYC/AML technology architecture and design authority. Across every engagement, I bring architecture governance and assurance, security/IAM and data governance, and architecture decision-making that aligns stakeholders across strategy, delivery, operations and assurance.
