What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can build reliable Linux deployments, automate provisioning and updates, and improve security and performance—turning fleet operations into repeatable, maintainable engineering.

I’m a Software Engineer at TechLit Africa, where I deploy and maintain custom Artix Linux across 30+ devices at multiple sites. I’ve recovered and repurposed 110+ locked devices by creating custom secure boot signatures, flashing firmware, and deploying lightweight OS solutions—saving $25k+ to date. I also maintain a classroom control system (Go/React) supporting 30+ concurrent devices, with ongoing updates and new functionality.

I build automation toolchains with Bash and Ruby for system updates, component management, hardware provisioning, and LAN-based distribution, reducing setup time by ~60%. I manage central update infrastructure with hardware-specific workarounds and troubleshoot firmware, driver compatibility, and performance issues. Earlier, I supported county staff as an IT Support Technician (internship) and built personal Linux infrastructure (Arch-based and Nix systems) to deepen my expertise in init systems, package management, and low-level optimization.
