I’m a data specialist who thoroughly enjoys the logic behind solving problems with data—especially when it involves coding. I love the challenge of data science in the data prep stages, and I’m motivated by using statistics to help guide business decisions.

As a Data Analyst at Afgri Group Holdings, I contributed significantly to the main Power BI business report used by Exco, taking ownership of a critical deliverable. I built a strong understanding of a complex data structure and applied advanced Power BI skills to deliver clear, comprehensive reporting on business operations.

Previously, as a Data Scientist at Telesure Investment Holdings, I worked across Collections, Retentions, Sales, Marketing, and Claims. I supported a Python API for Claims using Flask and Scikit-learn, built and maintained a quarterly internal churn report with SAS and Power BI, and automated/scheduled time-sensitive data provisioning with SAS and Python—saving significant time and improving data integrity.

I’ve also supported strong data governance through an external partner data solution using SAS and Excel (with MS Azure/Synapse) and mentored an NWU Master’s student through their final project. I bring a quantitative foundation (BSC. Quantitative Risk Analysis (Hons.) and BSC. Actuarial Science) and was recognized as a Telesure quarterly “Unlock Award” 2025 runner-up for being resourceful, productive, and exemplary.
