I've led multidisciplinary audit teams at the Puerto Rico Department of Housing’s Disaster Recovery Office, conducting investigative and compliance reviews of fiscal operations, accounting systems, and organizational processes.

I develop audit strategy with senior leadership, deliver executive-level reports, and drive corrective action planning that supports stronger governance, operational efficiency, and accountability.

Previously, I served as a Compliance Auditor with the Office of the Comptroller of Puerto Rico for more than 15 years, evaluating procedures, identifying control gaps, and recommending internal-control improvements.

I also maintain financial records in a volunteer Financial Record Coordinator role, including reconciliations, data entry, financial tracking, and documentation review. I bring an accounting foundation, native Spanish fluency, and professional development in fraud investigation, CDBG programs, innovation, and artificial intelligence.
