Dejana Antic
@dejanaantic
Computer vision engineer specializing in medical imaging, deep learning, and research-driven product development.
What I'm looking for
I am a computer vision engineer with an MSc in Machine Learning, focused on medical imaging applications such as monocular depth estimation, object pose estimation, semantic segmentation, and 3D reconstruction from ultrasound.
I have hands-on research experience at a medtech research department and at the Max Planck Institute-affiliated start-up, contributing to object detection and instance segmentation projects and publishing work on weakly supervised novel-class object detection.
I lead projects, supervise students and interns, and drive cross-team communication while contributing to invention disclosures and patents; I also have strong software engineering skills in Python, C++ and common ML libraries.
I am motivated by applied research that translates into clinical impact and enjoy mentoring, collaborative problem solving, and pushing technical boundaries in medical computer vision.
