I've led financial control, capital project governance, and internal audit across Zambia's mining industry for more than 19 years. My work spans financial reporting, IFRS compliance, management reporting, risk management, ERP implementation, and team development.
At Mopani Copper Mines, I managed internal audit governance and risk management, advising senior management on controls, compliance, and process improvement. I built a multidisciplinary team of five auditors, introduced Audit Management Software, and helped realize more than US$9.5 million in savings.
As Business Controller for Projects at Mopani, I led financial management for a capital portfolio exceeding US$1.8 billion. I delivered financial modelling, board reporting, forecasting, investment analysis, commercial negotiation support, and ERP capital-module implementation.
I've also managed payroll for more than 5,000 employees, led finance teams, and supported major project contracts and budgets. I bring practical financial insight that helps boards and management make sound strategic and operational decisions.
