At Maamba Energy Limited, I supervise accounts payable and treasury staff and oversee invoice verification and posting in SAP. I also coordinate supplier payments and monitor cash balances and forecasts.
In my current Senior Accountant role, I review supplier and bank reconciliations and strengthen payment controls. I work with procurement, internal audit, management, and banks to resolve invoice and payment issues.
Previously, as Project Accountant at Maamba Energy Limited, I managed project financial reporting and cost allocation, coordinated customs tax compliance, and administered statutory tax obligations. I also liaised with the Zambia Revenue Authority on tax submissions, compliance reviews, and regulatory correspondence.
At First Quantum Minerals Trident Limited, I managed metal sales revenue accounting, reconciliations, invoicing, and revenue forecasts. Earlier, at First Quantum Mining Operations, I managed payroll, petty cash, and financial reporting for exploration teams. I'm an ACCA Finalist and a member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZiCA).
