I've led engineering and drafting for NextGen Steel's cold-formed steel building systems, creating fabrication-ready framing layouts, roof framing, connections, and production documentation in ScottSteel CAD and ScottStruct.
Across DentalEZ, Magnum Oil Tools International, TECO-Westinghouse, Tenaris Coiled Tubing, Schlumberger, Enron Wind, and Boeing, I've designed products and structures from concept through manufacturing release. My work includes a 10,000-psi downhole plug, a 15% fabrication-cost reduction through an improved slip design, a coiled-tubing factory expansion, and wind-turbine components supported by FEA.
I bring 30+ years of mechanical design, product development, FEA, GD&T, DFM/DFA, fabrication, and project leadership experience to resolving complex engineering and manufacturing issues.
