David Jaja

I’m a Frontend Developer and Technical Writer with “over four years of frontend depth and growing backend expertise,” specialising in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Go. I build end-to-end systems that emphasize “clean architecture” and developer experience, from APIs to polished UI micro-interactions.

I’ve designed and shipped production-grade products as a solo developer, including Iris—a VS Code extension and SaaS—with a local static analysis engine, Go backend, Paystack subscriptions, and secure Clerk JWT verification. I also built Modeva, a complete e-commerce platform with a custom CMS, REST API, Google OAuth, JWT auth, role-based access control, and performance improvements through infrastructure migration.

Beyond product work, I create npm packages (timepick-kit-react and react-stepflow) and contribute to open source, while publishing technical content across freeCodeCamp, Hashnode, MakeUseOf, and OpenReplay (“over 400,000 article reads”). I’m drawn to interfaces that “actually feel good to use,” tools that make other developers more productive, and teams that value thoughtful engineering.
