What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an internship where I can build full-stack features, deploy practical ML solutions, and apply chemical engineering knowledge to process optimization—contributing to real-world outcomes with mentorship and growth.

I’m a chemical engineering student (200L) at UNILAG pursuing First Class honours (CGPA 4.94/5.00), with a strong drive to apply engineering thinking to software and data problems. I enjoy turning complex requirements into working systems that deliver real impact.

On the product side, I built Vouch’s trust infrastructure for Nigeria’s informal economy—developing a React frontend with real-time score visualization and Framer Motion animations. I also implemented transaction scoring logic and financial tiering, working with React, Vite, Tailwind CSS, Node.js, Express, Supabase, and PostgreSQL.

In machine learning, I contributed to a credit card fraud detection effort that achieved 99.97% recall on 568,000 transactions. I used feature engineering, SMOTE, and models including Random Forest and XGBoost, then optimized performance with Python, scikit-learn, and Jupyter Notebook.

I’m seeking a free internship or remote job where I can combine full-stack engineering, practical ML, and my chemical engineering foundation in process optimization. I learn fast, work independently, and take initiative—especially when the goal is measurable outcomes.
