I’m a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer with over 4 years of experience designing and managing scalable cloud-based data solutions. I focus on building robust ETL/ELT pipelines and optimizing data storage architectures using Azure services like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and ADLS Gen2.

In my current role at Manulife, I designed and maintained scalable data pipelines integrating policy, claims, and customer data from multiple systems for analytics, reporting, and risk assessment. I optimized SQL Server and Azure SQL through query tuning and indexing, processed large volumes of structured and unstructured data with Azure Databricks and PySpark for near real-time insights, and managed distributed data with Azure Cosmos DB to support reliable, high-availability access. Previously at ICICI Bank, I built ETL and real-time streaming pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Event Hubs, and Stream Analytics to enable near real-time fraud detection and alerting.

I’ve also strengthened end-to-end Lakehouse architectures with Delta Lake and Medallion patterns, and improved data governance and enterprise analytics through secure, compliant implementations. I implement encryption, access controls, and monitoring using Azure Key Vault and Azure Monitor, and I develop high-performance data models and data warehouse solutions using Snowflake and Azure Synapse Analytics to support advanced analytics, reporting, and forecasting.
