Dario Murillo

Recent computer science graduate with an emphasis on software engineering. I'm a full-stack developer who likes to understand problems end-to-end, from the database up through the UI.

I've worked on a team building a research information system, where I helped design the monorepo architecture and contributed across the stack — building parts of the NestJS backend, the React/Next.js frontend, and writing SQL queries against our Oracle database.

Beyond that, I've built several complete applications as part of courses and as personal proyects like: a full-featured CRUD platform with role-based authentication for a veterinary clinic, an online store with a full checkout flow, and a custom take on the word game Wordle with its own game logic and UI.

I've also gone the other direction and worked close to the hardware building embedded systems projects on ESP32 and Arduino, and tackling low-level systems work like a multithreaded web server in C++.

My time in university and my own curiosity have led me to develop T-shaped skills deep in full-stack development, with enough breadth that other areas are never a black box to me.
