I’m an AI engineer and Economics & Finance undergraduate focused on using digital technologies and AI to strengthen evidence-based economic policy. I’ve built agentic and multi-agent AI pipelines to automate research workflows in governance and public-infrastructure transparency.
At Verité Research, I continued as a Junior AI Engineer, taking greater ownership of AI-driven automation and applied-AI projects. I fully automated Hansard coding for Manthri.lk’s MP ranking system using AI agents, replacing manual parliamentary speech classification with an automated pipeline.
I also developed a LangGraph multi-agent auditor using Gemini to assess public infrastructure projects across CoST transparency indicators, using parallel multilingual web-search agents and producing cited JSON/CSV reporting. In parallel, I built a trilingual (Sinhala, Tamil, English) transcription application and delivered macroeconomic and research dashboards.
Beyond engineering, I’ve supported policy-relevant research outputs and community fintech work, including reports on FinTech governance and DLT adoption. I’m motivated to lead technology-focused research for Sri Lanka by turning complex economic and governance questions into reliable, usable AI systems.
