I seek a role that values student well-being, promotes inclusivity, and offers opportunities for professional growth.

As a passionate school counselor, I have dedicated my career to fostering equitable access to academic and socio-emotional growth for all students. Currently, I implement a comprehensive counseling program at Antioch Charter Academy II, where I deliver individual and group counseling, facilitate Restorative Justice Circles, and manage crisis situations. My commitment to student leadership is evident through my mentoring program and support for the Black Student Union, as well as my role in establishing a Parenting Support Group.

My experience as a classroom teacher has equipped me with a deep understanding of the educational landscape, allowing me to adapt my counseling strategies to meet the diverse needs of students. I have worked in various grade levels and settings, including Title 1 schools, where I focused on providing targeted instruction and fostering an inclusive community. My educational background, including an EdD in Trauma-Informed Practices and multiple advanced degrees in counseling and education, further enhances my ability to support students effectively.
