Jason Johnson

I support students across academic, career, and personal development, with 8+ years helping diverse populations build trust and self-advocacy through clear education and career pathways.

At Indian Springs High School (SBCUSD), I guide college applications, FAFSA, scholarships, and postsecondary transitions, including dual enrollment advising and course selections aligned to college pathway goals.

I’ve worked especially closely with first-generation, foster youth, and students experiencing homelessness—delivering targeted interventions, connecting families to community resources, and leading liaison support for foster and homeless student programs.

Through crisis intervention and data-driven counseling, I conduct suicide risk assessments, collaborate with IEP teams, and help students transition to disability services in higher education. I also serve on SBCUSD’s Positive Youth Development hearing panel, writing case reports and recommending rehabilitation, re-entry, and academic success planning.
