What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an entry-level data science/statistics role where I can apply rigorous inference and conformal prediction, build and test models in R/Python, and grow through careful reviews, collaboration, and real-world problem solving.

I’m a Statistician & Data Scientist applicant with a B.Sc. in Data Analytics (Statistics) (110/110 cum laude) and an English-taught program in Statistics (LM-40 — Statistics). My focus is on combining strong statistical foundations with practical modeling, implemented cleanly in R and Python.

For my thesis, I worked on “Conformal Prediction and Classical Statistical Inference: A Theoretical and Empirical Comparison,” guided by Prof. Elvira Romano and Prof. Antonio Irpino. That work shaped how I think about reliable predictions, coverage guarantees, and the trade-offs behind different inferential approaches.

Currently, I’m a Research Collaborator preparing a manuscript based on my undergraduate thesis for submission to the International Statistical Review (Wiley / ISI). I’m extending the theoretical framework on coverage guarantees of conformal prediction under distributional shift and designing additional simulation studies in R.

I bring advanced skills in programming and analytics—R (advanced), Python (advanced), and SQL—along with tools like Git/GitHub, Jupyter, and RStudio. I enjoy building ML/stats pipelines using libraries such as scikit-learn, NumPy, pandas, and tidyverse, and I’m motivated by work that is both rigorous and reproducible.
