What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build scalable, event-driven products where I can improve architecture, ship real-time user experiences, and help teams move faster with reliable cloud systems.

I've built and scaled production applications across YourHomeEstate, Network For Animals, and Bubble using the MERN stack and AWS. My work includes decomposing monoliths into domain-driven microservices and shipping systems for more than 10,000 monthly users.

At YourHomeEstate, I redesigned a monolithic platform into four containerized Node.js and Express microservices, increasing release velocity 3x. I also shipped a notification service handling 50,000+ daily alerts with zero downtime and React investment dashboards for real estate decision-making.

At Network For Animals, I delivered secure REST APIs, modernized a decade-old monolith, and built a bulk-upload pipeline that eliminated 15 hours of manual entry each week. I migrated an on-premise application to AWS with auto scaling that absorbed a 200% seasonal traffic spike without downtime.

I'm drawn to event-driven architecture, real-time applications, and performance-focused platforms. Through PropTrack and ClientIQ, I've built multi-tenant SaaS products, high-volume alerting engines, search improvements with Redis and geospatial indexing, and dashboards supporting concurrent users.

Senior Software Engineer

YourHomeEstate

Aug 2023 - Present (3 years)

Spearheaded the architectural redesign of a monolithic application into 4 domain-driven microservices on Node.js/Express, containerized with Docker, increasing release velocity 3x. Designed and shipped a standalone Node.js notification microservice handling 50,000+ daily alerts with zero downtime during peak traffic.

NetworkForAnimals

Mar 2022 - Jul 2023 (1 year 4 months)

Designed and delivered secure RESTful APIs (JWT, rate limiting, RBAC) in Node.js/Express for mobile and web clients, cutting development rework 8%. Refactored a decade-old monolith into a modular Node.js/Express/React architecture, reducing new feature implementation time by 35%, and migrated an on-premise application to AWS with auto scaling groups.
