At MySideQuest, I founded and developed a full-stack marketplace connecting people with gigs, freelance opportunities, collaborations, internships, and volunteer opportunities. I took the product from concept and system design through development and deployment, including real-time messaging and a recommendation system.
As a Software Developer Intern at JKUAT, I developed Bacteriophage, a bioinformatics pipeline that helps researchers analyze genomic sequences using NCBI databases and BLAST. I also built an automated workflow for genome retrieval, sequence alignment, and results visualization.
