I’m looking for a startup or scale-up where I own backend services end-to-end—from design to deployment—collaborate cross-functionally, and tackle ambiguous technical challenges with a strong engineering culture.

I’m a systems-focused Go backend developer with 6+ years building services for high-traffic, distributed environments across fintech and data platforms. I design and ship backend systems that handle millions of events, integrate with messaging systems like Kafka and NSQ, and run reliably on Kubernetes.

I enjoy owning services end-to-end—from design to deployment—especially in startups and scale-ups. I’ve built a stateless REST translation layer with a strict 1:1 contract to swap conversational AI providers without changing legacy chatbot behavior, and I delivered real-time live-chat with WebSockets, Redis-backed session hubs, Pub/Sub fan-out, and multi-pod scaling.

Across my work, I focus on production-grade engineering: secure auth boundaries (JWT/JWKS, Auth0, short-lived WebSocket tokens), async webhook flows, graceful shutdown, structured logging, metrics, and distributed tracing. I also bring a QA mindset from earlier automation and testing work, which strengthens the way I validate and harden what I ship.

Built and deployed a stateless REST translation layer between Watson V2 and the AIVO API, replacing IBM Watson Assistant with zero changes to the legacy banking chatbot or frontend. Developed real-time live-chat and webhook capabilities using WebSockets and async event handling, and hardened the service with secured auth boundaries, structured logging, metrics, and graceful shutdown.
