What I'm looking for

I am seeking a role that values collaboration and innovative teaching methods, where I can continue to foster student growth and engagement.

I am a 2021 graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Childhood Education and three years of experience in delivering educational assistance and instruction to diverse learners. My commitment to implementing project-based lessons fosters inquiry-based learning, equipping students with the necessary tools to achieve their academic, social, and emotional goals.

In my role as a 4th Grade General Education Teacher at P.S. 369 Young Leaders Elementary, I improved student comprehension and retention in Math by 48% through adaptive curriculum strategies. I also boosted ELA performance for 30% of my students by employing discussion-based lessons and utilizing semantic and graphic organizers. My dedication to creating a supportive learning environment is evident in my development of behavioral plans that promote self-regulation and interpersonal relationships.
