Courtney Rockhill
@courtneyrockhill
Dedicated speech-language pathologist specializing in AAC and language assessment.
What I'm looking for
I’m a diligent, passionate Speech Language Pathologist focused on helping students communicate with confidence. I provide speech-language services that include evaluating and supporting articulation, phonology, and pragmatic communication, alongside AAC for accessible communication.
Across preschool through 5th grade and school-based settings serving students ages 5–22, I assess and treat communication disorders while monitoring and interpreting student progress. I integrate academic content into therapy and use multi-tiered instruction and supports to meet learners where they are.
I build practical, supportive systems—like classroom and building-wide communication boards (including English and Spanish)—and I collaborate in bi-weekly SPED meetings and weekly PLC meetings. I also handle eligibility determination, referrals, and Medicaid billing, ensuring care is organized and data-informed.
My approach is collaborative and family-centered: I train staff and families, conduct assistive technology evaluations, and coordinate compensatory and co-treated services with team members such as PT and OT. I’m especially interested in virtual part-time work where I can continue delivering high-quality therapy and measurable outcomes.
