I'm seeking a graduate QA or Software Test Engineer role, preferably hybrid or on-site, where I can contribute from day one and continue growing as an engineer.

Conor Griffin
@conorgriffin1
QA Engineer with experience testing a live government platform. Skilled in Java, TypeScript, and test automation using Playwright and REST Assured.
What I'm looking for
I'm a software QA engineer and full-stack developer looking for my next opportunity on a product-focused engineering team.
My hands-on QA experience comes from an internship at Version 1, where I worked on MyAgFood, a live national agricultural platform for the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine. I built automated test coverage and worked across the full SDLC in an agile, CI/CD-driven environment.
I'm comfortable across the stack. Java is my primary language, and I also work regularly in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python. For test automation I use Playwright, REST Assured, and JUnit, plus pytest for Python testing, with Docker and GitLab CI/CD for build and deployment pipelines. I've also built projects with React and Spring Boot, and I'm active in Jira, Confluence, and Xray for test management and workflow tracking.
Outside client work, I build and ship my own tools: an open-source Java CLI for fuzzing REST APIs, and a real-time collaborative Java IDE built as a capstone project. That combination gives me both a QA mindset and a builder's instinct.
I'm looking for a role, whether QA-focused or full-stack, where testing and quality are treated as first-class parts of the engineering process, not an afterthought. I want a team with strong technical standards, room to keep developing across both testing and development, and real ownership over the systems I work on. I'm particularly drawn to companies building products that matter, whether that's public infrastructure, fintech, or ambitious early-stage platforms, and to a culture that invests in growing engineers rather than just filling seats.
Open to QA engineering, SDET, and full-stack roles in Dublin or remote-friendly teams.
