I have PhD in Applied Mathematics for Finance from the University of Cape Town, with strong background in numerical methods for partial differential equations in finance. My research focuses were on modelling and pricing financial derivatives.
I have two master's degrees. One in financial mathematics and other in Actuarial science. During my master's studies in financial mathematics, I investigated the application of Lie point symmetries to find analytical solutions of the partial differential equations that govern the price of weather derivatives European options. I have published the paper on pricing weather derivatives using Lie symmetry and PDEs. As master student in course of Actuarial Science, I investigated about pricing insurance products.
In addition to my academic achievements, I have skills on teaching, writing, oral presenting, research, working with software such as maple, r, latex. As Assistant Lecturer I have worked at Eduardo Mondlane University and Zambezi University. I have also worked as an auxiliary coordinator for the BSc Honor Degree in Actuarial Science program at Zambezi University.
