I have a HND in IT and completed a four-year IT apprenticeship at BAE Systems, developing a broad technical foundation across programming, software, hardware, networking and technical problem-solving.

During my apprenticeship, I gained experience working with technical systems and information, software testing, systems analysis, documentation and process-based work. This included working with Visual Basic macros and DOORS systems analysis, alongside broader exposure to IT and engineering environments.

My current goal is to re-establish my career in IT and develop towards a long-term career in data, technology analysis, business or operations analysis, systems, quality and testing, or other technical roles. I am particularly interested in work involving data, reporting, process improvement, documentation, problem-solving and finding ways to make systems and processes more efficient.

I am open to junior and entry-level opportunities where I can build on my existing IT foundation while developing new skills. Learning new software, tools and technologies is something I am comfortable with, and I am particularly interested in opportunities that provide a clear path to take on increasing responsibility and progress within an organisation.

My current technical interests include data analysis, Excel, SQL, Power BI, business analysis, technology operations, QA/testing and process improvement. While I may not have recent professional experience with every tool or technology mentioned in a vacancy, I have an established IT foundation and am motivated to develop the additional skills required.

I am specifically looking for remote opportunities in the UK and am particularly interested in established organisations with strong technical environments, multiple teams and genuine opportunities for long-term development and progression.
