What I'm looking for
I am a passionate educator currently teaching U.S. History, World History, and Law at the School District of Philadelphia. With a Master of Education and a strong commitment to fostering student engagement, I design lesson plans that not only meet educational standards but also encourage political, social, and cultural literacy among my students. My goal is to create supportive learning environments that empower students to achieve academic and personal success.
Prior to my teaching career, I served as a Military Police Officer, where I honed my leadership skills and provided training on diversity and inclusion. My experience in law enforcement has equipped me with a unique perspective on civic responsibility and the importance of community engagement. I have also contributed to legal services as a student attorney in an immigration clinic, advocating for clients in need.
