Christian Joyner-Armstrong

As a Management Information Systems student with a minor in Information & Cybersecurity Technology, I am eager to apply my strong foundation in IT systems, artificial intelligence, and threat detection to real-world security projects. My education at East Carolina University has equipped me with essential skills in cybersecurity fundamentals, network security, and software development, particularly in Python and SQL.

Currently, I am gaining practical experience as an IT Project Management Intern at ECU Health, where I support project planning and documentation within healthcare systems. My role involves tracking milestones, coordinating meetings, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards. Additionally, I teach physical fitness and STEM fundamentals at the Boys and Girls Club, fostering teamwork and interest in science and technology among youth.

My projects, including an AI Log Generator and Threat Detector, showcase my ability to develop innovative solutions using machine learning models. I am also an active member of the ECU Cybersecurity Club and the MIS Club, where I engage with peers to enhance my knowledge and skills in the field.
