What I'm looking for

I seek roles where I can build and deploy interpretable, scalable ML solutions, mentor teams, and contribute to R&D and training programs in collaborative environments.

I am a machine learning engineer who centers work on data integrity, statistical rigor, model interpretability, scalable deployment, and end-user satisfaction. I have hands-on experience fine-tuning embedding and small language models, building RAG systems, and creating structured datasets for model finetuning.

I have built and deployed production-style models including a location-based hospital recommender and a neural network for heart disease prediction, and I led projects producing over 10,000 hours of Nigeria‑accented speech for dataset creation. I also develop learning materials and train government officials and interns on AI fundamentals and practical ML workflows.

I bring strong technical skills across Python, R, SQL, PyTorch, TensorFlow, data tooling, and cloud/container technologies, combined with a collaborative, results-oriented approach that emphasizes interpretability and scalable deployment.
